Strike Pay Banking Information Collection
Strike Pay — Important Instructions for WestJet Mainline Members
Eligibility: This form is for WestJet mainline members only. WestJet Encore members who choose to join picket lines are not entitled to strike pay and must NOT complete this form.
Banking information requirements:
Transit/branch number: exactly 5 digits
Bank/institution number: exactly 3 digits
Account number: 7 to 13 digits
Your information on the form must match your bank records exactly. Failure to verify accurate information will result in missed payments.
Verification and responsibility:
It is the member’s responsibility to verify that the banking details entered are correct to ensure payments are deposited successfully.
When signing up for a picket shift you must check the box confirming you have already entered and verified your banking information.
If you have trouble completing the form on this page:
Click the button above to access the form.
We recommend requesting your transit/branch, institution, and account numbers directly from your bank rather than relying on a void cheque, as numbers on void cheques can be difficult to read.
Support and confidentiality:
We cannot assist with identifying or deciphering bank numbers. If you cannot find or read these numbers, you must contact your bank.
Your banking information is secure and will be shared only with those required to administer strike pay.
Critical notice:
If correct banking information is not received, even if you check in and out of a picket line, you will not receive strike pay.
Please ensure all details are entered accurately and verified before signing up for picket shifts.
