We are pleased to announce that the nominations period for the WestJet Encore Bargaining Committee are now open. This is an important opportunity for members who are passionate about representing their colleagues at the bargaining table and advocating for fair and equitable working conditions. Please refer to the email sent on August 5th outlining the Bargaining Committee Roles, Expectations, and Commitment required – also linked HERE.

As per the Bylaws (linked HERE), we will be running elections for two positions on the Bargaining Committee for WestJet Encore.

“The WestJet Encore Committee shall consist of the President, Unit Vice President and two (2) members that shall be elected by the membership of the Encore bargaining unit.”

Encore members may nominate themselves or be nominated by another member within the WestJet Encore Bargaining Unit.

Nomination Period:

Opening: August 11, 2025 @ 09:00am MST

Closing: August 18, 2025 @ 09:00am MST

Any nominations submitted after this time will not be accepted.
