We're excited to introduce our new AI Chatbot, Co-Pilot, powered by Zapier, designed specifically for WestJet Cabin Crew members! This tool is a significant step forward in providing you with immediate, convenient access to information, whenever you need it.

Why We Created Co-Pilot

As Cabin Crew, our schedule is demanding, and questions often arise outside of typical office hours. Our main goal with Co-Pilot is to provide 24/7 access to important union and contract information. It's designed to be a reliable resource to help clarify doubts and get quick answers, offering timely support when you need it.

What Co-Pilot Can Do

Co-Pilot is a smart and efficient resource, here to help. It can:

  • Access Your Collective Agreement: Co-Pilot has been trained on our WestJet Collective Agreement and can pull relevant information directly from it.

  • Provide References: When answering questions from the Collective Agreement, Co-Pilot will give you specific article or section references, so you can easily check the source.

  • Answer Common Questions: It's built to quickly address many everyday questions you might have about your rights, benefits, or union policies.

How Co-Pilot Works

Using Co-Pilot is simple. Just type your question into the chat. The chatbot uses advanced technology to understand your inquiry and provide accurate, relevant responses. Its user-friendly design makes it easy to get the information you need.

Important Note & Disclaimer

To start, Co-Pilot will only be able to answer questions specific to WestJet mainline operations. We are focusing on getting this up and running effectively. We may explore a separate bot for WestJet Encore in the future.

While Co-Pilot is a valuable tool, it's important to understand its limitations. The information it provides might sometimes be incorrect or incomplete.

Please do not rely solely on Co-Pilot for critical or definitive information, especially for complex issues. It's always best to speak directly with your Base VP or a Union Representative to confirm any information or to address detailed questions.

However, when you need a quick answer to a simple question, or if your Base VP isn't available, Co-Pilot should serve as a helpful and immediate resource to guide you.

Privacy & Data Use

To help us continuously improve Co-Pilot and make it even more accurate, please know that all chat histories are accessible for 30 days by our dedicated union team. This includes full chat transcripts, keywords used, and general usage analytics. This data will be used only to refine Co-Pilot's knowledge and improve its effectiveness for all members. We care about your privacy, and this data will not be shared externally.
